I am called a stick insect quite simply because I’m an insect that looks like a stick.
We vary quite a lot as we all like to disguise ourselves as different sticks depending on our diet. Some of us even move like sticks blowing in the wind to stay hidden while walking. All I eat is bramble leaves. Did you know the longest insects in the world are stick insects?
