Bubbles and Balloons

In our ‘bubbles and balloons’ workshop, your children will have fun learning what a bubble is and how it is formed.

They will discover what happens when we try and touch the bubbles and find out when they pop - and when they don’t!

Children will then be able to make their own bottle of bubbles to take home with them.

In our balloon experiments, we look at 3 alternative ways to inflate our balloons.

  • Water
  • Water and Alka-Seltzer
  • Baking soda and vinegar

We ask children which they think will work the best and then try all three methods to find the result.

We also use bubbles from our previous experiment to help us to do a cool trick with our balloons called ‘balloon on a skewer’

Age: 3 to 4 (Pre-School/Nursery).
