Hello everyone and welcome to the first blog of 2019, we apologise for the slight delay in recent blog entries we are vastly expanding as a company which pulled us away from the social media side of things for a short period of time however we are now back and will be bringing you more content than ever before!
So I guess all that’s left to do now is introduce myself! My name is Cailin and I am one of the Animal Educational Presenters at Wild Science; meaning I deliver some of our amazing animal workshops, therapy sessions and fantastically fun parties! It wouldn’t be hard for you to guess where my passions lie; I am of course a massive animal lover as well as a people person, which is why I love my job so much. I am excited to bring you weekly blogs about our wonderful animals that include small injections of my personality; so hopefully you will be able to get to know me through my blogs. At Wild Science we are all one big family so we’d also love to get to know you so be sure to follow our Facebook page where we love to interact with our followers through games, polls and much more!
I don’t want to bore you too much in this intro to myself so instead here is a small snippet about how I ended up at Wild Science. After having a love for animals my whole life, I decided to study Animal Management at college; alongside this I spent my spare time volunteering at a Wildlife Rescue. After copious amounts of searching for the perfect job for me I finally found Wild Science and I haven’t looked back since. I started with the company just over half a year ago and I’m finally living my dream, surrounded by the animals that I love. I love being able to educate people about my animals out on sessions so you can imagine how eager I am to now be able to share this information with an even larger audience.
I’d like to finish on a small insight on what you can expect to see in the up and coming months. Diving into the reptile world and buying your first scaly friend is always a daunting task, mainly due to the complicated set-ups required to ensure your reptile is healthy; I can remember when I first started buying reptiles I searched high and low for the correct information, which is why I’m going to be bringing you simple step-by-step guides on how to set up enclosures for a wide range of reptiles. As well as this I’m going to be bringing you blogs on serious topics such as endangered animals, specifically the lesser well-known ones. Also you can expect to see the continuation of “The Pet Guide” series where I will be bringing you even more tips and tricks on how to keep your small friends happy.
Well as for the small intro to me that’s all I have to say but as a whole there is plenty more to come. So if you’re interested in delving into the world of exotic animals and reading about all things animal related then be sure to watch this space for all that’s to come, I will be bringing you two blogs per week as well as daily posts on Facebook, be sure to follow us there so you can see when we have new blogs here. We can’t wait to hear from you in our comments.
