Hello! I’m the Rabbit, a gentle and sociable herbivore known for my long ears and powerful hind legs. My diet consists of hay, fresh vegetables, and specially formulated pellets, which keep me healthy and happy. I love to hop and explore, and I’m known for my playful binkies. Furthermore, those joyful leaps and twists in the air show that I’m having a great time.
I am famous for my large ears and prominent teeth, which help me nibble on a delightful variety of vegetables and plants. My enthusiastic chewing serves a vital purpose—my teeth grow continuously, and by gnawing on different materials, I keep them trimmed and prevent any issues from becoming too long.
When I’m truly happy, I have a charming little dance we call a “binky.” Picture me running joyfully, leaping into the air, and twisting mid-flight—it's quite the sight! However, contrary to popular belief, carrots aren’t part of my natural diet. In fact, they can upset my stomach, which is why they should be given sparingly as treats rather than staples of my meals. The beloved cartoon character, Bugs Bunny, often munches on carrots, making him one of the most iconic rabbits in the world.
Rabbits, like me, have a remarkably short gestation period and can give birth to as many as 14 adorable kits (baby bunnies) in one go. Currently, there are about 45 million rabbits in the UK alone! We possess unique and quirky personalities and love to brighten up the lives of those around us, thriving on the care and affection we receive.
