More about Science of Slime
Wild Science can't wait to create slime with you! Discover the science behind slime's properties while making your own unique version—whether you want it to be super stretchy or delightfully runny!
Our Nutty professors will lead participants in creating their own slime with various ingredients. During the workshop, students will explore the science of slime, focusing on the characteristics of polymers and how they interact with various substances.
Slime Making
Dive in and create your very own slime just the way you like it! Pick a colour, sprinkle in some glitter, and adjust the thickness to your liking, whether you want it thick or runny. See how far you can stretch and find out if thick or runny slime stretches further. Once you've had a blast crafting your slime, take it home to keep the fun going and proudly display your creation!
Polymer Game
Polymers are molecules that connect to form long chains. When you make slime, these molecules intertwine or bond with each other, resulting in a chain or polymer structure.
We’ve devised an engaging method for demonstrating the science of slime. This method encourages you to get up and move while making it a playful experience.
Our Slime Workshop is crafted to be welcoming and enjoyable for individuals of all ages and abilities. These workshops offer a lively and hands-on learning experience that encourages creativity, science skills and sensory engagement.
