An animal party is a themed celebration built around hands-on animal encounters. Our crew of experts brings a mini zoo to your home, garden or venue. They arrive with mammals, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates for your guests to meet.
It suits children's birthday parties, adult celebrations and any special day in between. Every session is a hands-on experience that is educational as well as fun. People go home with new facts, great photos and memories that can last a lifetime.

What Happens at an Animal Party?
Each party follows a simple routine, so you know what to expect on the day.
- Our expert arrives in plenty of time and sets up in your chosen space, indoors or outdoors.
- They introduce the animals and give clear guidelines to ensure everyone stays safe.
- Children and adults take turns to hold and touch the animals, as much or as little as they like.
- The expert shares fun facts and stories about each animal and answers every question.
- Everyone gets photo opportunities to share with family and friends.

Which Animals Come to an Animal Party?
We bring a mix of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, including insects. Past parties have featured guinea pigs, bearded dragons, geckos, snakes and giant snails. If you want to hire animals for a party, our expert brings them and leads the session.
You can tell us which animals you would love to see, and we will do our best. No particular animal can be guaranteed on the day. However, we can avoid a specific animal because of allergies or phobias. Just tell us when you book.
Our goal is to make wildlife feel exciting, not scary. It is a great way to face a fear and see animals differently. You can also explore our animals before you book.
Birthday Parties for Children and Adults
Animal birthday parties are a fun way of creating memories on your child's special day. Children love getting close to real wildlife and learning how to care for animals. That sense of wonder is something we want to nurture.
Adults love the experience just as much. We have hosted a 22nd and a 31st birthday. Our sessions suit mixed-age groups, from our youngest visitors aged 1 with a grown-up to adults.
We also plan for inclusivity. Our team supports children and adults with special educational needs and other requirements. For example, the expert can offer breaks or a quiet moment with a small animal. George Brown, one of our experts, has worked as a Special Educational Needs Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

Group Size, Ages and Session Length
We recommend up to 20 children and adults for an animal party. We can also host much smaller or larger groups, depending on how many guests you invite.
The best experience is usually 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. We can extend the session if you would like more time with the animals.
You may like to add your own decorations, crafts or a themed cake around our session. Decorations and party bags are not part of our booking.

Safe, Licensed and Animal-Friendly
Safety always comes first at an animal party. Our expert is on hand to ensure everyone handles each animal safely. We follow RSPCA guidelines, and all our staff are DBS checked.
Wild Science is fully licensed and insured. Public liability insurance of at least £5 million is in place. Our animals are well cared for, and everyone sets their own pace. We aim for a safe, friendly experience for animals and people alike.
