Animals- If you want to bring the magic of animals to your fairs, we can make that happen! Imagine getting up close and personal with a variety of creatures, each with its own charm and character. Can you touch them? Yes! We encourage everyone to interact with our friendly animals while guided by our experts. They will show you how to gently hold and pet these furry, scaly, or feathered friends, so it’s safe and enjoyable. As you interact with each animal, you will also learn fascinating facts about their habits, preferences, and personalities, so your time here is not just fun but an educational adventure!
What Can You Expect from School Fair Animal Experience?
Our visiting expert will contact you before the event to discuss the set-up so we can make sure it suits your space, whether it’s in a theatre, a private room, or outdoors in the glorious sunshine.
During the event, the expert will present a range of animals, including mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and invertebrates. They will tell you about each animal, educate attendees, and help break stereotypes. Furthermore, there will be opportunities for the audience to interact with the animals, including strokes, cuddles, and holds for those who want to participate.
We can run your event with animals in different ways, and it's up to you to decide. We will help you decide what will work best for your event.
Timed sessions: Having a 30-minute block of time where we can sit a group down and conduct a lesson on the animals and hand them around. This way, you will have control over the number of people per session. Whether they book a ticket first or it is first-come, first-served is up to you. Having multiple of these timed slots so that no one misses out and everyone can experience the fun.
Open session: An open session is most commonly used in events. It lets people come and go as they please and decide which animal they would like to see or handle. We do ask that we have a system in place to help control the number of people coming at once so that the animals and the experts don’t get overwhelmed.
Science- Experience what it is like to become a Mad Scientist! Witness as we show you thrilling and educational science experiments. Teaching and demonstrating all about the science behind chemical reactions. Depending on the size of your event, you can have a hands-on experience and create your very own chemical reaction.
What would we recommend for science at your event?
Unlike animals, science sessions have to run differently depending on the size of the event. Many of our interactive science topics usually cater to around 30 people. With events larger than, we have a topic called Science Show Spectacular, in this, we have a variety of different experiments that our Nutty Professor can perform for an audience, making it just as exciting to watch.
Please be aware that where we set up will be very important to run our session. Science makes sure that we can receive power to run some of our science experiments. With our animals, we also have power to be able to plug in a heat system for the animals to keep them warm. Make sure we are away from any loud noises such as speakers, bouncy castles, and throwing activities. If the event takes place outdoors, we will also need to be in a shaded area for the animals.
