Welcome to our immersive workshop designed to showcase the intricate wonders of the natural world to every curious young scientist. Consequently, we facilitate a variety of hands-on experiments that effectively bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exploration.
Our practical activities utilize accessible outdoor materials to investigate various natural phenomena within a controlled and highly educational research environment. Furthermore, these sessions allow students to explore fundamental scientific values across the disciplines of ecology, physics, and chemistry simultaneously.

Leaf Colour Experiment:
In this experiment, we demonstrate a method for altering leaves’ colour and explain the reasons and processes behind this natural occurrence.
We collect leaves from outside and place them in a rubbing alcohol solution. Placing coffee filters in the middle, you will gradually see the pigment separate and create a colourful pattern on the filter.
Why do leaves change colour? In the autumn months, leaves change colour due to reduced sunlight. Weather conditions such as sunny, dry, and cool air can also change the colour of the leaves. These conditions cause chlorophylls, the green pigment in all green plants, to break down in the leaves.
Mud Slime:
This experiment involves creating an enjoyable and visually chaotic slime. We integrate natural ingredients, making our slime a product that harmonises with the environment. Encouraging children to experiment with their slime's colour, texture, or scent using elements from the wildlife around them presents an engaging challenge. At the same time, this activity imparts knowledge about the science involved in making slime.
Learn all about how polymer chains make slime and how they allow it to change shape and be stretched. Polymer chains are long chains of molecules linked together.
Bridge Building:
Building bridges is a fantastic group activity that can be turned into a fun competition among classmates to determine which group can create the biggest and sturdiest bridge. They only use natural materials from the environment around them, gathering what they believe will support the strength and stability of their bridge. They can use some string to help hold everything together. This approach is a fantastic opportunity to showcase teamwork and explore their ideas on what might work best.
Once all the bridges are complete, we test them by placing objects on them to see how well they stand.
