In the ‘Science of Slime’ workshop we discuss polymers and find out why they behave the way they do through games and experiments.

We make lots of slime too!

We engage your group through a series of games to demonstrate how molecules behave in a polymer in a practical and easy to understand way.

Then there’s the slime.  Your children will manipulate it to test its limits and breaking points, answering questions such as;

  • How far can your slime stretch?
  • Whose slime will break first?
  • How flat can you make your slime?
  • Can you put your slime back together?

This is a fun but highly educational workshop for children of all ages. Polymers are covered by the National Curriculum in key stages 1-3, but lets face it, no matter what your age, you’re never too old to make slime!

Age – 4 to 99 (Infants, JuniorSecondary Schools … Care homes!).
